February workshop: Bird/Nest lentil bead

This months workshop will involve making a textured  lentil bead with a transfer inside. The way I make the opening is with the new All-In-One Cabezel molds (of course).

 

 

 

Materials List

• Usual clay kit (pasta machine, tile, blades, etc)
• Texture sheet
• Guilder's paste, Pearlex, etc to highlight texture
• Course sandpaper /fine sandpaper
• Round cookie cutters 1 1/8" and larger
• Paper to work on
• 2 light bulbs- If you bring the typical old style, your pendant will be
  larger than if you bring the small round 25 watt vanity style (the type that
  are used for the long strips of lights in washrooms around mirrors) If you
  were at the January meeting and saw my pendant it was made with the large
  old style light bulb
• If you have the Straight 'N narrow texture sheet please bring it
• A dab or 2 of super glue and some liquid clay, an eyepin and a bail to hang
  the pendant if you have these
